We are here to assist parents, grandparents, home educators, church leaders, and teachers who desire to instill Christian character traits in their children.

Summer is a great time to spend extra time with your children. Why not use those hot, hazy days as an opportunity to instill God's Word in your children's hearts? Here are some suggestions that work well for us. Your Story Hour offers many Bible stories on Audio CD. Our kids, for instance, enjoy the Life of Jesus and the Passion of Jesus by Your Story Hour. They listen to the Bible stories while in the car and while going to sleep at night.

Patch the Pirate CDs by Majesty Music also are used frequently in our home. The newest Patch the Pirate CD, The Colonel's Colossal Character Quest, is a favorite as it teaches kids about obedience and faith.

If you need even more to keep the kids entranced while on the road for vacation, check out our Paws and Tales stories from Insight for Living. Paws and Tales: Season One has fifteen discs of fascinating stories and Paws and Tales: Season Two is a 12-CD set, giving you many hours of suspenseful adventures.

Many children learn best when they both see and hear spiritual truths from God's Word. Saturate your children with a desire for Christ-like living when they hear Bible stories and Christian biographies of godly heroes from our past. It features wholesome music, puppetry, and art while educating your toddler about the awesome love and power that God exhibited when He created the world.

This summer spend time as a family around the campfire reading great Christian literature from Grace and Truth Books, Lamplighter Publishing, and Salem Ridge Press. Books from Lamplighter Publishing, such as The Beggar's Blessing, Stick to the Raft, Saved by Love, and Amy and Her Brothers, will bring tears to your eyes as you personally feel God's incredible love for us and our need to show that love to others. Salem Ridge Press books will educate your children in church history while helping them understand the great sacrifice Christians made in order to advance the cause of Christ. If your children need some extra encour- agement to build godly character traits in their lives, check out our character-building books from Grace and Truth Books and Lamplighter Publishing. A Little Rebel Becomes a Saint, Little Daisy and the Swearing Class, The Little Medicine Carrier, Tampering With Temptation, The Reward of Childhood Truth, and Throw Me Overboard are highly recommended as books to begin with.

Your daughters will also fall in love with the Elsie Dinsmore books and the Kathleen McKenzie series by Mission City Press. These A Life of Faith books are well-written and are excellent tools in instilling a desire to live a pure and virtuous life for Christ.
